Strengths

I recently took the strengths test and these were my results:
Restorative
Consistency
Context
Discipline
Includer

Restorative people love to solve problems. They enjoy the challenge of analyzing the symptoms, identifying what is wrong, and finding the solution. This definitely applies to me because I love doing these things. Whenever anybody is sick or going through a hard time, I talk to them and figure out what they're going through. I put myself in their position and I analyze the situation to see what I would do. I love doing this especially when it comes to people getting sick of injured. I tell them everything I know about that problem and I give them suggestions of what to do without forcing. I'm also very good at reading people through their words, actions, or expressions. I am able to figure out what they're feeling and talk to them about it.
I also have Consistency as a strength. Balance is important to me. I'm keenly aware of the need to treat people the same, no matter what their station if life, so I don't like to the scales tipped too far in any one person's favor. I'm not really sure how to explain this strength but I can feel it when I walk around everyday. Context is one of my strengths as well and this one is a little hazy about me but nevertheless true. I usually look back to the past to understand the present. I belive the earlier time was a simpler time so I figure out what would have worked back then and try to apply it to the present. I always try to find patterns in the way things work. I'm not totally in to the history thing but it does interest me how people lived with less technology and how we came to be the people we are today.
Discipline is definitely a strength of mine. I'm not a hardcore planner or an anal perfectionist, but I like to have things organized most of the time. I find ways to organize myself to get things done on time and I tend to create order and structure where it is needed. My world does not have to be in order but I usually make it that way. Most likely, when I'm with my friends, I'm the one trying to organize stuff and everyone tells me to chill out.
Includer is my last strength and it's probably the weakest of my strength. It goes a lot with consistency and it's about feeling bad when someone's left out of something. By looking at the list of 34 themes I'd say that Intellectual would be a more suitable strength. Intellectual would fit me not because I like to study at all, but I love to think. I very much enjoy my time alone because it is my time for musing and reflection. In a sense I am my own best companion, as I pose myself questions and try to answer on myself to see how they sound.
I'm always keeping an open mind for how God will use my strengths to help other people and I am excited to see what he can do in my life with them.

Your strengths really are strong ones to have. I like that a theme in all your strengths is solving things whether with people or with things you've done in the past. I even like your "weakest" strength: including people. Maybe you'll see it develop more? Or maybe it just really isn't your strength. Since being your roommate, I definitely see discipline in your life, you are very organized and you sit yourself down to get work done first, much better discipline than me. I think your strengths will greatly flourish as you spend more time at A.P.U.

I think that these strengths are very fitting to Jared. I definitly agree that he is restorative because he is a problem solver. Like he said he likes to analyze situations and give his opinion on it and i have seen him do this. Consistency is fitting to Jared. He knows how to manage his time with school work and friends and he also treats everyone equally. Context is a good strength for him because it goes along with restorative and figuring things out and using patterns or the past to do so. Discipline is for sure one of Jared's strongest strengths. He knows how to manage his time and he seems to always get his work done. Includer is a good strength for Jared despite what he may think. From the moment I met him he has always been kind to me. He is very good at seeing how others feel and if he sees that someone is uncomfortable he will try to my them feel comfortable and welcomed.

Jared, I like the fact that you are desciplined as a person and you are conistant. Those two work amazing;y well together. I also love that you seek to restore people and find out what is wrong and what you can do to help fix the problem.

I think that discipline is a great strength to have in life. It will help you do more things and get more things done. Being able to identify problems and fix them is also a really valuable strength.

Even though I don't know you that well, I can definitely see how these strengths would apply to you! You seem like someone who likes to fix things, and also someone who's very disciplined in all actions of life.

I think your strengths definently describe you well. Just from the short time I've known you I can tell you are a disciplined person and truly care about the others around you, which goes with your restorative and disciplined strengths very well.

I love your stregths and I think it's awesome how you're keeping an open mind on your strengths. Your right God has given you these qualities for a purpose. Having restorative must be so cool because you're always asking question and figuring stuff out!
